Tiya Patel is a first-year Finance major at California State University, Long Beach, and currently serves as the Director of Corporate Relations for FMA. She joined FMA to build meaningful relationships with industry professionals and create valuable opportunities for members to connect with companies and explore career paths. Tiya developed an interest in finance through her dad, whose passion for trading and the stock market inspired her to learn more about investing and financial markets. Her career goal is to pursue a role in wealth management or financial planning, where she can help individuals achieve their financial goals. Outside of academics, Tiya enjoys staying active by going to the gym and running, cooking, playing, and watching basketball as a dedicated Golden State Warriors fan, and keeping up with all sports.
